ABOUT MARK

Mark started his training adventure in New York’s Upper West Side, working out in a Crunch to alleviate the stress of moving to a new city. He was quickly hooked to the environment, scrounged what money he could to hire a top trainer there, and picked his brain so much he earned the nickname ‘20 questions,’ after he realized sitting in chairs and doing internet things wasn’t his bag.

An examination of the recurring patterns in a high percentage of the populace rolling through his work at Crunch and later Equinox kept him questioning every piece of traditional advice and inspired him to come up with his own methodology. He went through every school of strength training you can find and wound up blending strength and conditioning with the postural alignment of the Egoscue Method and the holistic approach of training hip slings.

This paved the way for a groundbreaking system that increases flexibility, strength, and conditioning while shaking off the dysfunctional patterns that modern society forces on everyone, both athletic and non. All at the same time.

Currently, he’s working on bringing hip sling theory to the masses, to curtail the problems that come from sitting and training muscle groups in isolation.

He’s helped dozens of people lose over a 100 pounds, trained Emmy, Grammy & Kids Choice award winners, sculpted award-winning butts, and is affectionately referred to as a ‘body mechanic’.

Any goal you have, he’ll help you hit.
